My journey started on job sites in Chicago around 2009 — running service calls, diagnosing complex plumbing issues, and building relationships with homeowners and contractors. In 2014, I officially earned my Illinois Apprentice Plumber license through the Illinois Department of Public Health, a milestone that cemented my commitment to the trade. That hands-on experience gave me far more than technical skill — it taught me how systems work. Where It All Became Official
Apprentice Plumber License — June 2014
I'd been doing plumbing work since around 2009, learning the trade from the ground up on real job sites across the Chicago area. When I finally received my official Apprentice Plumber ID from the Illinois Department of Public Health on June 16, 2014, it was one of the proudest moments of my career. It validated years of hard work, early mornings, and crawling under houses to get the job done right.
That card represented more than just a license — it was proof that I was building something real. It fueled my drive to not only master the trade but to eventually help other plumbers build their own businesses through technology and marketing.
